Ohio State is the host institution of the American Society for Virology (ASV) 2024 Annual Meeting. Dr. Shan-Lu Liu, professor, College of Veterinary Medicine and IDI Viruses and Emerging Pathogens Thematic Program co-director, is the ASV 2024 faculty director for Ohio State. This is a great opportunity to showcase Ohio State’s extremely talented virology community, as well as the greater university community and the city of Columbus and we are calling upon trainees and postdocs to serve as ASV 2024 volunteers.

To be a volunteer, you do not have to submit an abstract; however, those who do submit an abstract can also be a volunteer, regardless of whether or not your abstract is selected. Volunteers must agree to volunteer for a minimum of 12 hours. Information regarding specific roles and available shifts will be communicated after abstracts are selected, and mandatory training will be provided. Volunteers will receive waived registration fees to ASV 2024.
