Drs. Eben Kenah, Sarah M. Short, and Shu-Hua Wang Selected for 2024 GRO Academy Cohort

Dr. Eben Kenah, associate professor, Division of Biostatistics, College of Public Health, IDI member; Dr. Sarah M. Short, assistant professor, Department of Entomology, College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, IDI Discovery Theme faculty member; and Dr. Shu-Hua Wang, professor, Department of Internal Medicine, College of Medicine, IDI Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Thematic Program co-director, have been accepted to the 2024 Growing Research Opportunities (GRO) Academy cohort. The GRO Academy is a professional development program which helps researchers develop the skills and confidence to work on and lead effective interdisciplinary research teams. Informed by evidence-based models of training and bringing together a range of team science and leadership experts, this program provides participants with practical skills and a strong vision for continued growth, and further strengthens the university’s and the IDI’s position as an interdisciplinary research leader.
