Congratulations to Dr. Dan Wozniak, professor and vice chair, Departments of Microbiology and Microbial Infection and Immunity, College of Medicine, and IDI Microbial Communities Thematic Program co-director; and co-director Dr. Karen McCoy, chief of the Division of Pulmonary Medicine, Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH), and the entire team on the renewal of their Cure Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Columbus (C3) Research and Development Program (RDP) award! This $2.6M award funded over four years represents the continuing collaboration between Ohio State and NCH to advance cystic fibrosis research and training focused on the development of new therapeutic strategies to combat infections associated with CF. Additional support is being provided by the IDI, the College of Medicine, the Department of Microbial Infection and Immunity, and the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge (ERIK).
