We are pleased to introduce the 2024-2025 Interdisciplinary Program in Microbe-Host Biology T32 trainees. Erin Fowler, Bella Lee, Matthew McFadden, and Abbey Saadey are this year's T32 predoctoral fellows, and Drs. Allysa Cole, Sophie Hopkins, and Melissa Leonard are this year's T32 postdoctoral fellows. Dr. Rajendar Deora, associate professor, Department of Microbial Infection and Immunity, College of Medicine, and IDI Discovery Theme faculty member, and Dr. Daniel Wozniak, professor, Department of Microbial Infection and Immunity, College of Medicine, and IDI Microbial Communities thematic program co-director, are the principal investigators of the NIH T32 training grant which provides opportunities for interdisciplinary training and mentorship. The grant provides funding to support five of the trainees. The IDI and the College of Medicine each support one additional trainee.
