1. Power On the Screen
- Ensure the screen is turned on.
- On the left side of the screen, locate the two orange power outlets.
- Just above the outlets, there is a power switch – make sure it is switched on.
2. Connect Your Laptop
- Use the HDMI cable provided to connect your laptop.
- If your laptop requires an adapter (e.g., USB-C to HDMI), use one of the available adapters at the lectern.
3. Select Display Settings
- On your laptop, choose your display mirroring option:
- Duplicate: Shows the same content on both your laptop and the screen.
- Extend: Treats the screen as an additional display.
- Second screen only: Displays content only on the screen.
4. Set the Input Source
- On the screen system, ensure HDMI 2 is selected as the input.
- If your laptop screen does not appear automatically, switch to HDMI 2 manually.
5. (Optional) Use the OWL Video Conferencing Device
- The OWL device is located in the lectern.
- Plug the OWL into your laptop using the USB-A cable.
- Ensure the OWL is:
- Plugged into the wall
- Powered on
- In your video conferencing platform (e.g., Zoom, Teams):
- Set the video source to “OWL”
- Set the audio input/output to “OWL”
