- Infectious Diseases Molecular Epidemiology Laboratory
The mission of the Infectious Diseases Molecular Epidemiology Laboratory is to explore how foodborne and nosocomial microbes can affect animal and human health. As a team of scientists, they seek to unravel the epidemiology and molecular mechanisms of foodborne and nosocomial pathogens, with emphasis on antimicrobial resistance, to improve health and well-being of humans and animals.
- Institute for Population Research (IPR)
IPR is a multi-disciplinary research center which nurtures population and health research. IPR has four major thematic emphases: fertility and reproductive health; union formation health and development through the life course; migration.
- Mathematical Biosciences Institute
The mission of the Mathematical Biosciences Institute is to foster innovation in application of mathematical, statistical, and computational methods to resolve significant problems in biosciences; to foster development of new areas in mathematical sciences; to engage mathematical and biological scientists in these pursuits; and to expand the community of scholars in mathematical biosciences through education, training and support of students and researchers.
- Molecular and Cellular Imaging Center (MCIC)
The Molecular and Cellular Imaging Center is a part of the Computational Biology Laboratory at the OARDC, which houses equipment and provides research support services in microscopy, and in the areas of genomics and molecular biology.
- Nationwide Children’s Hospital Biomedical Genomics Core
Biomedical Genomics Core provides a complete solution for genomics research, from the initial steps of high quality, comprehensively analyzed data sets. They strive to complete genomic solutions using problem-driven strategies and provide a high-quality service for their clients.
- Nationwide Children’s Hospital Biopathology Center (BPC)
The Biopathology Center serves as a biorepository. Equipped with the expertise and robust infrastructure provided by the BPC’s work with many NCI-sponsored biorepository-based efforts. The BPC Core is equipped to handle a wide variety of specimen types and maintain the flexibility needed to accommodate unique projects.
