On Saturday, May 6, 2023, the Infectious Diseases Institute at The Ohio State University participated for the third year at COSI’s Big Science Celebration. We set up a booth named "Tick Tock, Tick Talk," aiming to engage with the community. The event offered an excellent platform to interact with hundreds of community members and educate them about staying safe from ticks during the summer season. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about tick safety through interactive demonstrations involving plush tick-removal activities, examination of tick samples under microscopes, and received take-home tick identification cards.
