We are thrilled to welcome Drs. Fernanda Novais and Shu-Hua Wang to the IDI thematic program director (TPD) community!
Fernanda Novais, PhD (Assistant Professor, Department of Microbial Infection and Immunity, College of Medicine) will join Drs. Sam King and Prosper Boyaka as a TPD for the Host Defense and Microbial Biology Thematic Program.
Shu-Hua Wang, MD, MPH&TM, PharmD, FIDSA (Clinical Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Disease, College of Medicine) will join Drs. Mark Mitton-Fry and Tom Wittum as a TPD for the Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Thematic Program. Dr. Wang will take over for Dr. Erica Reed who is stepping down from her AMR TPD role. Dr. Reed has served as an AMR TPD since 2018. (Thanks for your service and leadership, Erica!)
