The Infectious Diseases Institute was one of many Ohio State groups present at COSI’s Big Science Celebration on Saturday, May 7, 2022, with a booth titled “Tick Tock, Tick Talk.”
This community outreach event gave us the opportunity to talk to hundreds of community members about staying “tick safe” over the summer months. Attendees learned about tick safety hands-on with plush tick-removal demonstrations, microscopes and tick samples, and take-home tick identification cards!
