This NIH T32 training grant provides opportunities for interdisciplinary training and excellent mentorship to three graduate students and two postdoctoral fellows. In addition to these positions, the IDI funds an additional graduate student position, and the College of Medicine funds an additional postdoctoral fellow position as part of the training program. Dr. Rajendar Deora, associate professor, Department of Microbial Infection and Immunity, College of Medicine, and IDI Discovery Theme faculty member, and Dr. Daniel Wozniak, professor, Department of Microbial Infection and Immunity, College of Medicine, and IDI Microbial Communities Thematic Program co-director, serve as the principal investigators of this training grant.
